Welcome to ChargeForGood (“we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and services (collectively, the “Service”), including your ability to make charitable donations through our platform using your credit or debit card.

By using ChargeForGood, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.

1. Overview

ChargeForGood helps users keep their credit cards active by making small recurring donations to charities of their choice. All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. (“Stripe”), a third-party payment provider. We never store or process your credit card information directly.

2. Eligibility

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
  • Provide accurate information during sign-up
  • Have a valid payment method stored securely via Stripe

3. Donations

  • Donations are processed monthly or annually, based on your settings.
  • Funds are routed directly to the selected charitable organization through Stripe Connect.
  • You authorize us to initiate these charges on your behalf.

4. Platform Fees

ChargeForGood may charge a separate platform usage fee for use of our services, which will be clearly disclosed at the time of signup. However, 100% of your donation is sent to the charity you specify. We do not deduct any fees from the donated amount.

5. Third-Party Services

Stripe provides the underlying payment infrastructure. Your use of Stripe is also subject to Stripe’s Connected Account Agreement.

6. Refunds

Because donations are sent directly to charitable recipients, we cannot guarantee refunds. You must contact the charity directly to request a refund.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we believe you are violating these Terms or misusing the Service.

8. Disclaimers

  • We do not guarantee the tax-deductibility of donations; consult your tax advisor.
  • We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChargeForGood is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
